What does "acts and paywalls, orthogonal" mean?
An act is a unit of narrative logic; a paywall is a unit of audience payment. The two never line up on their own — general-purpose AI writes by act, while the audience decides whether to pay by paywall. EtherPen's master sheet puts one row per episode and registers both coordinates at once, alongside runtime budget, value-axis flips, and setup/payoff — deliberately cutting each pay point on the eve of an act climax. Viewers pay to reach the payoff instead of leaving right after it.

- No. The platform's red line is that AI never silently edits: every AI change is presented as tracked revisions (del/ins) that you accept line by line before anything touches the manuscript; content you didn't name is preserved verbatim.
- Can I trust the paywall placement?
- Pay points aren't a model's hunch. The master sheet registers every paywall as an explicit coordinate, computed against 776 real hit beat maps and deliberately cut on the eve of each act climax — so the audience pays to see the payoff.
- How long can a series be?
- Built for mainstream micro-drama scale (60–100 episodes × 1–2 minutes). An 80-episode full series has a complete production run on record.
